I'm 21 years old girl from Ukraine, due to the mistake of doctors, I got a birth injury. So I've been using a wheelchair for whole my life. Thank to my
parents I had a chance to study in a regular school, unfortunately most of
kids with disabilities never have such opportunity. I always loved art,
fashion, photography, however I could not find the right way to be able
involved in this industry. Once I read about the work of the great fashion
designer Alexandr McQueen on the catwalk with Aimee Mullins. It was so
inspiring , so I started to believe it can be possible for me one day too.
I am interested in many different areas, so I graduated from the
university, got degree with honours in Psychology. Volunteered in the
military hospital. For a few months already I've been working with a team
and we are writing the project. We want to build ramps at the crossroads of
my city - Dnipropetrovsk. Ukraine is not accessible country for wheelchair
users. However , I believe nothing is impossible. The most important in
life is passion. I'll do my best becoming a model and working on projects,
I want to make this world more accessible and less stereotypes about
people with disability. I'm so happy that I found out about PhotoAbility. I believe this 2015 year my dream of becoming a real fashion model will come true.
